The Kings of Queens’

June 15, 2012

What can I say? I’m just old school: I’m always going to refer to the Aegon Championships this week on the ATP Tour as the Queens’ Club tournament.

Welcome, if you’re following me from Tennis Talk, Anyone? during my blog sprint! Anyway, I thought the French Open final matchups were great last week, but now we’re on to the grass and the aforementioned Aegon Championships.

It’s down to the semifinals and a couple of French Open final-round teams find themselves in the semis: the Bryan brothers and Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor.

When you play at an all-world level like those four, competing for Grand Slams and making the transition to a completely different surface is child’s play. Should be a good weekend ahead!

Now it’s on to the final stop in my blog tour, The Life and Times of the Anxious Freelancer.

See you back here soon!
